Job Description
Essential Functions - Teach assigned courses in Comp. I and II, transfer curriculum, and/or developmental composition. Teaching assignments may include evening courses and teaching via alternative delivery systems, such as Zoom and ITV. Assignments may include face-to-face teaching at various local high school locations and travel to McPherson and/or Newton Outreach locations. High school semesters may extend beyond the HutchCC academic calendar. Plan and implement appropriate activities to supplement instruction. Plan, revise, and update curricula as assigned by the department chairperson. Maintain records and files as requested by the department, including submitting grades in a timely manner. Logon to the learning management system daily, respond to emails regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position. Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position. Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices. Secondary - Performother responsibilities as assigned by the department chairperson, the Outreach Center Coordinator, Associate Director of Outreach, or the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
