Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current, active Louisiana Teaching License/Certification with relevant endorsements Experience teaching General Education ELA preferred Knowledge and understanding of best practices in ESL/EL instruction Strong classroom management skills and cultural awareness Outstanding communication, organization, and adaptability Ability to design creative and inclusive lesson plans

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging reading, writing, listening, and speaking lessons Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere encouraging language development Assess and track student progress, adapting instruction as needed Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support services to optimize student outcomes Maintain a positive classroom environment where diversity is valued Participate in school meetings, training, and professional development as required
