Part-Time Adult ESL Instructor - Evenings ClearSpeak Academy, in partnership with BEZ Group, is seeking an engaging and dependable ESL instructor to teach adult English learners in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This position is ideal for an instructor who enjoys helping immigrant adults develop practical English skills for everyday life, work, and greater independence. Classes emphasize conversation, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, and real-world communication. ClearSpeak Academy will provide the curriculum, lesson materials, presentations, and instructional guidance. The instructor's primary responsibility is to deliver engaging, supportive, and effective lessons. Schedule Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30-9:00 p.m. 3+ teaching hours per week Initial 12-week session beginning September 29, 2026 Possible Saturday morning classes Potential for additional classes and future teaching opportunities Classes are for in-person instruction at BEZ Group in Marlborough. Responsibilities Teach practical, conversation-focused English lessons to adult learners Follow the curriculum and instructional materials provided by ClearSpeak Academy Encourage students to speak and participate actively during class Support students with pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, grammar, and workplace communication Adapt activities to accommodate different English proficiency levels and learning needs Create a welcoming, respectful, and culturally inclusive classroom Track attendance and provide brief feedback on student participation and progress Communicate regularly with the ClearSpeak Academy program coordinator Use basic classroom and online teaching technology when needed Arrive prepared, dependable, and on time for every class Qualifications Experience teaching ESL, ELL, ESOL, adult education, or a related subject Bachelor's degree in education, TESOL, linguistics, English, or a related field preferred TESOL, TEFL, ESL, or other relevant certification preferred Strong communication, organization, and classroom-management skills Experience working with adult immigrant or multilingual learners preferred Comfortable teaching both in person and online Patient, encouraging, culturally responsive, and enthusiastic about helping adults succeed Reliable transportation to Marlborough, Massachusetts Portuguese language skills are helpful but not required About ClearSpeak Academy ClearSpeak Academy helps immigrants build the practical English skills and confidence they need for work, everyday life, and brighter opportunities.
