Qualifications:

Must have a valid State of Michigan teacher certification with a BA and/or BX endorsement Bachelors degree is required Minimum of 3 years teaching Knowledge of MTSS framework

Responsibilities:

Implementation of English Language Arts curriculum Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning and are in line with the State standards Develop and implement strategies of interventions for individual students Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities Maintain classroom management and discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school

Demonstrate interest in the work of the Academy and a strong commitment to the moral values and dedication to providing an excellent educational foundation for learners that will enable them to be motivated and excited learners Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding information, policies, and procedures Ensure confidentiality of all student and Academy privileged information
