Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Arts Teacher to inspire and support students from K to 5th Grade in developing their literacy, writing, and communication skills. This part-time role involves delivering engaging instruction for three hours per week, focusing on individualized learning approaches tailored to each student's needs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in literacy education, curriculum development, and experience working with diverse learners across different skill levels. Duties Design and implement personalized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to individual student goals Utilize various instructional strategies, including e-learning platforms and learning technology tools, to enhance engagement and understanding Provide targeted tutoring sessions to support students in improving their reading, writing, comprehension, and language skills Develop and assess instructional materials that promote literacy education across multiple languages such as Mandarin, French, Japanese, and other foreign languages Manage classroom activities effectively to create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence Collaborate with parents, caregivers, or other educators to track progress and adjust instruction as needed for optimal student growth Qualifications Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Prior experience working with students from K through 5th Grade highly desired Demonstrated ability to tailor instruction through individualized instructions and tutoring sessions for diverse learners Excellent writing skills and the ability to foster a love of reading and writing among students Multilingual abilities such as Mandarin, French, Japanese or other foreign languages are a plus Join us in shaping confident communicators by leveraging your expertise in language arts!
