The successful candidate will teach four sections of 11th Grade English, proctor a study hall, serve as an advisor to a small group of approximately ten students, lead one co-curricular activity period weekly, and actively contribute to the rich intellectual and community life that defines Sandia Prep. Our Upper School English program is built on thoughtful discussion, intellectual curiosity, and meaningful connections with literature. Students engage with complex texts, develop strong analytical thinking skills, and become confident, compelling writers. While each teacher brings their own creativity and expertise to the classroom, our English Department values collaboration and works together to design and deliver a cohesive, engaging curriculum. At Sandia Prep, teaching extends beyond the classroom. We are looking for an educator who is excited to build relationships with students, inspire a love of learning, and participate fully in a welcoming, inclusive school community. No phone calls.
