Job Description
Successful Candidate must:
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of instruction specifically designed for new learners of English.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and application of ENL regulations
- Extensive knowledge of the NYS learning standard across disciplines
- Knowledge of and ability to implement strategies designed to address the needs of diverse learners
- Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision-making
- Knowledge of and ability to implement positive effective classroom management strategies aligned with a PBIS model
- Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice
- Experience in co-teaching model
Job Qualifications
Successful candidates must possess New York State Certification in English to Speakers of Other Language {7080} or English Language Learning {0005}.
