#HC1 Urgently Hiring | 43-Weeks Contract Language Arts Teacher (Middle School) - School Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Language Arts Teacher to join a supportive school district in Summerville, South Carolina for the 2026-2027 school year . This full-time school-based opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about helping middle school students develop strong reading, writing, communication, and critical-thinking skills. The position offers a collaborative educational environment where the selected teacher will work closely with school staff to provide quality instruction, support student growth, and create an engaging classroom experience.

Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Language Arts lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning. Assess student performance and maintain accurate academic records. Develop lesson plans, assignments, and classroom activities to support student achievement. Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and parents to support student success. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-related activities. Maintain classroom management and encourage positive student behavior.
Requirements:
Active South Carolina Department of Education (SC DOE) Teaching License with Language Arts Endorsement . Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for working with middle school students. Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and parents. Must complete all required onboarding modules within the designated timeframe after hire. Must meet all credentialing and compliance requirements before the start date.
