We are looking for a co-teacher for a 6th grade class. The main class teacher prefers to work on a reduced schedule, so a co-teacher is needed for a portion of the afternoon, from 1:00pm to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday. The co-teacher is responsible to teach the English Language Arts period and Math period each day, and responsibilities include lesson planning for these periods (possibly in consultation with the class's main teacher). Up to 5 hours of prep time for lesson planning will be paid each week, so the job is a total of up to 15 hours per week. Pay for the position is a range starting at $26 per hour, and the higher amounts in the pay range are possible for a candidate who has previous formal teaching experience. The desired candidate will have prior professional experience in a school setting, and will be confident with teaching math and language arts at the 6th grade level.

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
