Approximately 30-40 multilingual learners About the Position Kenosha Unified School District is seeking a dedicated ESL Teacher to join the team at Bradford High School and support multilingual learners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a diverse group of high school students and passionate about helping students strengthen their English-language skills while succeeding academically. This is a full-time, school-year assignment with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek through June 2027. Required License Wisconsin 1395 ESL License

Candidates must hold the appropriate Wisconsin 1395 license to be considered for this assignment. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Wisconsin 1395 ESL license Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or working with multilingual learners Experience working with high school students preferred Strong understanding of English-language development and instructional strategies Ability to support students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, school staff, students, and families Ability to work the full 37.5-hour weekly schedule Must be available for the school-year assignment through June 5, 2027 Must meet all applicable school district and staffing requirements Responsibilities The ESL Teacher will: Provide ESL instruction and support to multilingual learners Help students develop English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills Support students in accessing grade-level academic content Develop and implement appropriate instructional strategies Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Maintain accurate student and instructional records Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff Support a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel Resume Requirement Please make sure your resume is current and accurately reflects your teaching experience and Wisconsin licensure.
