Responsible for conducting all scheduled classes; meeting course requirements as established by the department/program, preparing course syllabus, setting exams and homework, grading, maintaining weekly office hours and being accessible to students. Minimum Qualifications M.S. degree in agriculture, natural resources or environmental management or related field from an accredited university/institution by time of appointment. Demonstrated ability to teach college-level face-to-face lecture and laboratory courses. Working knowledge of natural resources or environmental management. Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. Desirable Qualifications Ph.D. or doctoral degree in agriculture, natural resources or environmental management or related field from an accredited university/institution. Success teaching large-enrollment sections and supervising GTAs/labs. Demonstrated hands-on training innovations (e.g. data analysis, GIS, remote sensing). Experience coordinating internships and industry partnerships; experience advising student clubs.
