Harvard University Position Details Title Reginald A. Daly Postdoctoral Research Fellowship School Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department/Area Earth and Planetary Sciences Position Description The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University invites applicants for the Reginald A. Daly Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. The Department seeks candidates in the broad field of Earth and Planetary Sciences including but not limited to geology, geochemistry, geobiology, geodynamics, petrology, geophysics, oceanography, atmospheric dynamics, climate science, atmospheric chemistry, Earth history, hydrology, mineralogy, mineral physics, paleomagnetism, seismology, and planetary sciences. We welcome methodological approaches that span field observations, lab-based science, theory, and computation. The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences celebrates the multiple dimensions of diversity that each member of our community offers, including diversity of background, perspective, and lived experience. These honorific postdoctoral fellowships are awarded for a one-year period, with an anticipated extension for a second year. Daly fellows carry out independent research and may choose to interact with one or more research groups in the department.
