Job Description
Salary:
$135,000 - $150,000 a year. This base pay range is for a nine-month academic appointment. Individuals may be eligible for summer salary. This position may be eligible for housing support and a taxable moving allowance. The Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of Chicago invites applications for an Associate Professor. A Geosciences Professor teaches foundational geoscience ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, lab experience, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the geoscience curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.
