Radford City - Main Campus Job Description Supplement the faculty of the Department of Geospatial and Environmental Sciences whenever additional faculty are needed to provide instruction. Required Qualifications All faculty must have at least a Master's degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching with 18 hours of course work related to the course(s) being taught. In some cases, subject to the approval by the Provost, a faculty member could be recommended for appointment based on substitution of significant experience for the degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior teaching experience. Special Instructions to Applicants Interested candidates should submit (1) a letter of application describing your background and potential contributions to the department; (2) curriculum vitae; (3) a two-page statement on your teaching philosophy, including examples of your teaching effectiveness and addressing how you promote diversity, equity, and inclusion; and (4) names and contact information for three professional references.
