One of the greatest benefits of teaching at The Hill School is our exceptionally low student-to-teacher ratio , with only 10-12 students per classroom , allowing teachers to build meaningful relationships and provide individualized instruction every day. Qualifications A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects Christian values is required. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Arkansas teaching license required, or actively working toward certification. Passion for hands-on, project-based learning with a STEM-focused approach. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Energetic, joyful, flexible, and positive demeanor. A genuine love for children and a desire to help each student thrive. Must enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive teaching team. Responsibilities Teach and inspire students in a combined 5th & 6th grade classroom. Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that foster curiosity and critical thinking. Integrate STEM activities and project-based learning into daily instruction. Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students. Cultivate a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered classroom environment. Build strong partnerships with families and fellow educators.
