Job Summary/Basic Function The Simulation Center Graduate Assistant supports all simulation activities for the RHIC Simulation Center. This position will report directly to the RHIC Operations Manager and take direction from the Simulation Coordinator. The aim of this assignment is to introduce graduate assistants to simulation. This includes set up and take down of simulations, cleaning and organizing equipment, assisting the coordinator in running the simulations as needed and other assigned duties to support the use of simulation-based education and training for learners at the RHIC.
Specific Responsibilities Work Schedule Dependent on Class Schedule, and RHIC Schedule Needs.
RHIC Business Hours:
M-F, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Required Relevant Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree (4 years)
Required Field(s) of Study Indiana State University graduate student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and maintains a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Preferred Relevant Education and Experience Preferred for students that are seeking a degree in a Health or Human Service field.
Prefer for students to have experience in learning in a healthcare simulation environment.

Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Primarily assisting the RHIC's Simulation Coordinator with essential daily activities. This would include, but not limited to:
Prepare, set up, and clean up Simulation Center and Skills Lab as directed.
Run simulations as needed. (GA must have completed the course that simulation is in).
Clean and maintain equipment and manikins as assigned.
Set up/clean up after each assigned simulation.
Support simulation operations as directed.
Liaison to the students, faculty, and educators as directed.
Participates on the Simulation Advisory Committee as a student representative.
Conduct Simulation Center tours.
Report GA hours to the RHIC Executive Director.
Other duties as assigned.
