Experience in a Montessori classroom is helpful. This position is for an Assistant in a Montessori classroom, including but not limited to being an observer of the students and the classroom, assisting the lead teacher & students in language arts, social studies, math, science, makers space, and integrated/cross-curricular hands-on experiential learning, supervision during lunch, recess, extended time, and drop-off and pick-up time, and helping with the organization and cleaning of the physical space. The Classroom Assistant would be working with a Lead Montessori Teacher in Primary, a multi-grade classroom including 3 year olds, 4 year olds, and Kindergarten students.
