Teach drawing with Young Rembrandts - a national award-winning after school program. Young Rembrandts of Central and West NJ is seeking energetic/enthusiastic candidates who have experience working with children. We train qualified instructors in the Young Rembrandts methodology and teaching technique, and provide all lessons, supplies, and materials. Qualified individuals will motivate groups of elementary school age children and guide their behavior using our innovative step-by-step process. The curriculum encourages children to express their imaginations while improving motor skills, patience, focus, and ability to stay on task, all while boosting their self-confidence. Classes are held in elementary schools in Skillman, Hillsborough, South Brunswick, East Brunswick and Princeton. Ideal candidates drive themselves to their assigned locations within reasonable drive times. Instructors follow the Young Rembrandts™ Drawing lessons planned in a structured step-by-step format. Seeking individuals with arts in their background and classroom management skills preferred (but not required). Must be able to drive up to 30 minutes and reach multiple teaching locations. We provide training, supplies & curriculum. You supply the fun!

Pay:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 10.0 per week
