Job Description Summary:
The purpose of this position is to assist in meeting the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of a group of young children and model for CDEC students appropriate teaching and care-giving practices. This is accomplished by assisting in writing and implementing daily activity plans; by helping children with physical skills, self-esteem, social, cognitive, and communication skills and observing children for developmental milestones.Minimum Qualifications:
Twelve (12) credit hours in Child Development or Early Education- OR•a Child Development Associate ( CDA ) credential (Submission of transcripts or CDA is required).
- OR•six (6) months of closely related teaching experience with children 0-8 years.
