This position is full-time, on-site in Orlando, FL. The Full-Time Faculty member in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across didactic, laboratory, and clinical education components in accordance with JRC-DMS accreditation standards. This role supports student learning, competency development, and professional readiness through the integration of classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory experiences, and clinical education oversight. Responsibilities Didactic (Classroom) Instruction Deliver instruction in assigned DMS courses aligned with program learning outcomes and JRC-DMS standard Develop, implement, and revise syllabi, lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials Evaluate student academic performance and provide timely, constructive feedback Maintain accurate academic records in the learning management system Laboratory Instruction Facilitate hands-on scanning laboratories that reinforce didactic instruction and develop psychomotor skills Ensure safe operation, proper maintenance, and effective utilization of ultrasound equipment Assess student technical competencies using standardized rubrics and skill check-offs Participate in the development and continuous improvement of lab curricula and simulations Clinical Education and Clinic Visits Supervise, monitor, and evaluate students during clinical education experiences Conduct clinical site visits in compliance with JRC-DMS requirements Serve as a liaison between the program and clinical affiliates Support and communicate with clinical instructors regarding student performance, expectations, and remediation Ensure clinical documentation, evaluations, and competencies meet accreditation standards

Requirements Education Required:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field (per JRC-DMS standards)

Preferred:

Master's degree in a related field Certification Current ARDMS certification in Echocardiography and one additional specialty (Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular).

Experience Required:

Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer Eligibility to teach in compliance with JRC-DMS and institutional requirements

Preferred:
