ULTRASOUND CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR

Performs all the duties of an ultrasound technologist. Serves as liaison for student clinical affiliations for ultrasound program schools Maintains excellent relationships and adheres to contractual agreements with affiliated academic institutions Ensuring provision of a robust learning environment to promote the development of ultrasound technologists. Demonstrate commitment to the mission, vision and values of Sinai Health System, as well as to the profession of ultrasound.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Associates Degree in Applied Science in Ultrasound Bachelor's Degree preferred

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

5 or more years' experience as a Sonographer working in an ultrasound department.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

You must have the skills and knowledge required by the SDMS, ACR and ARDMS guidelines for the profession of a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Extensive sonography education, training, and experience in the specialty area(s) to be done. Extensive clinical experience in providing sonography services and demonstrating the ability to mentor and support sonography students.

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS

American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS or RVT) certification BLS
