Join us in shaping the future of internal medicine and enhancing healthcare access for a diverse, underserved community. This part-time Internal Medicine Residency Faculty Position focuses on supervising and educating Internal Medicine residents and medical students at the Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center.The Team:
Join a collaborative Internal Medicine Resident Faculty Practice that includes 8 regular and part-time physicians, and a dedicated cohort of 48 Internal Medicine residents completing their ambulatory continuity experience. The clinic also has medical students rotating through to learn internal medicine.Practice Setting:
A fully outpatient teaching practice located with the PCC on the Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis campus.Schedule & Call Structure:
12-15 half day shifts per month, No call Educate and inspire the next generation of physicians, supervising internal medicine residents and medical students to deliver high-quality, compassionate care at the Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center. Supervise and guide residents in their ambulatory continuity clinic, providing real-time clinical oversight to elevate the standards of patient care. Deliver constructive feedback mapped to ACGME milestones, helping residents identify growth opportunities and reach their full potential. Manage clinical workflows by auditing clinical notes, supervising test results, and coordinating inbox tasks to ensure seamless, safe, and efficient patient care coordination. Excellent clinical skills and teaching ability with a true passion for precepting and mentoring emerging medical professionals. A multifaceted professional approach , seamlessly transitioning between clinician, educator, role model, and administrator. A commitment to scholarship and quality improvement to foster academic growth and clinical excellence. Board Eligible/Certified in Internal Medicine About the Facility The Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center is a multidisciplinary teaching practice located on the Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis campus. The PCC serves a culturally and linguistically diverse patient population, including many families who are medically underserved, uninsured, or underinsured. Physicians work alongside residents, faculty colleagues and an interdisciplinary care team while having access to the pediatric specialty resources of Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.
