This is a part-time faculty position as a clinical adjunct instructor. Qualifications Required knowledge and skills Knowledge of CNA/CMA and KDADs course content and computer literacy required. Required personal attributes include integrity, emotional maturity, dependability, and effective communication skills. Knowledge of adult education methods and theories preferred. Required experience A minimum of two years of demonstrated nursing experience (at least one year in long term care) is required.

Preferred experience:

experience as teacher within a nursing related program or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. Required educational background A current license to practice nursing in the state of Kansas. Education at least one level above nursing courses being taught (i.e. LPN for CNA/CMA courses).

Preferred education:

ADN or BSN.
