Job Description

Chamberlain University seeks Adult Health Clinical Faculty to teach and mentor nursing students in clinical and lab settings. In this role, you will facilitate evidence-based adult health nursing learning experiences, evaluate student performance, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care standards. You will collaborate with academic and clinical partners, contribute to curriculum refinement, and model professional, culturally responsive practice. Responsibilities Provide clinical and lab instruction in adult health nursing for pre-licensure students Supervise students in clinical settings, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback Integrate evidence-based practice and current standards into all learning experiences Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to align clinical objectives with curriculum Participate in course and curriculum development and continuous quality improvement Maintain clinical competence and engage in ongoing professional development Contribute to a diverse, inclusive learning environment that supports student success Document student performance and meet all academic and regulatory requirements Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and accreditation-related activities Required Skills Adult health/medical-surgical nursing practice Clinical instruction and supervision Curriculum and lesson planning Student performance evaluation and feedback Simulation and skills lab instruction Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Evidence-based nursing practice Clinical reasoning and critical thinking development Classroom and small-group teaching Culturally responsive care and communication
