Urology Location Metairie, LA Open Date Feb 26, 2026 Description The Tulane University School of Medicine Department of Urology is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient urology practice in a full-time faculty role. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with an experienced academic urology team while enjoying a stable, clinic-based schedule with no call and no inpatient responsibilities. Position Overview The selected Advanced Practice Provider will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-growing, academically driven urology clinic.Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive urologic evaluations, follow-up visits, and chronic condition management This position may partially support a Urologic Oncology physician who treats patients with urologic cancers. Supporting faculty urologists in the coordination and optimization of outpatient care Performing urology-specific outpatient procedures as credentialed and supervised Collaborating with nursing, administrative, and multidisciplinary partners to ensure an exceptional patient experience Participating in departmental quality improvement initiatives, faculty meetings, and continuing education activities This role is well-suited for candidates who value work-life balance, consistent daytime clinic hours, and the opportunity to develop strong relationships with patients in a purely outpatient setting.
