Job Description

Position Description:

Delta College of Arts and Technology is seeking an experienced and highly student-oriented Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Clinical Instructor for LPN students at our Slidell Campus. The Nursing Clinical Instructor will be responsible for teaching clinical skills and rotations to our LPN students in a clinical setting. This is a full-time position with a day-shift schedule for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. However, part-time positions are available. This could be a terrific opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with our students. Experience teaching in Nursing Education is not required as the college offers training for all faculty provided by experienced Nurse Educators. This position is an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge and experience in the Nursing profession to help our students succeed!

Requirements:

Current and valid Louisiana State or Compact Registered Nurse license. At least three (3) years of Nursing experience. At least one (1) year of Med-Surgical Staff Nurse work experience. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
