- MPAS Manchester/Worcester Program seeks an adjunct faculty member to deliver high quality learning experiences and education for students in the Masters of Physician Assistant Studies Program.
Program Director Requirements Required:
Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies or a related healthcare field For PAs, current NCCPA certification and eligibility for state licensure Minimum of 5 years of work experience in health care Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the college/university level, preferably in PA education Commitment to graduate and professional education and student success Excellent organizational and communication skills Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, alumni, and external constituents, including healthcare industry professionals) Must be able to use technology for videoconferencing, documentation, and communication Education and/orWork Experience Preferred:
Experience in academic coaching, advising, and remediation with physician assistant students Experience in best practice guidelines in graduate healthcare education Experience teaching, mentoring, or advising students at a graduate level Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Compensation Compensation The pay range associated with this posting reflects the amount the University reasonably expects to pay for this role at this time. Salary offers are determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications as well as internal equity, market data and pay in comparison to similarly situated employees doing comparable work.Hiring Range:
