Clinical Instructor

Job Overview:
Foster Career and Technical Education Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Clinical Instructor to supervise and instruct student nursing assistants during their required 40 hours of clinical training. This position is ideal for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about teaching and mentoring future CNAs in a hands-on clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise groups of 5-6 students in clinical settings.
Ensure students meet 40 hours of clinical training requirements.
Provide direct instruction and oversight during clinical hours (typically 7:45 AM
- 11:15 AM, with some full-day shifts from 7:00 AM
- 2:00 PM).
Maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
Assess student performance and provide feedback.
Follow state and program guidelines for CNA training.
Qualifications:
Active Maine RN License (Required)
Ability to pass a State of Maine Criminal Background Check & Fingerprinting
Strong communication and leadership skills
Teaching experience preferred, but not required
