THE COMPANY
Our parent company, Youth Athletes United , was founded to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth health and sports. Little Medical School provides interactive STEM education, emphasizing health and science.
THE PROGRAM
Little Medical School's programs introduce children to the exciting world of healthcare, science, and animals through hands-on, interactive learning experiences. Our age-appropriate curriculum encourages imagination, problem-solving, empathy, and early STEM learning in a fun and engaging environment. Students explore topics such as becoming a doctor, caring for pets, learning about the human body, healthy habits, and basic medical tools through role-play, movement activities, crafts, stories, and hands-on exploration. Programs are designed specifically for preschool-aged learners with short, engaging activities that support social-emotional development, communication skills, and confidence-building.
THE POSITION
What you'll do Teach after-school programs, camps, and special events Lead fun, interactive lessons using provided curriculum Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
Who We're Looking For:
Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, babysitting, etc.) Energetic, reliable, and comfortable leading a group Strong communication skills Bonus (not required): Background in healthcare, education, or science Pre-med, nursing, or education students Drama/theater experience Coaching or Athletic Experience Why Join LMS? THE SCHEDULE
During the weekday, the majority of the hours are in the morning at child care centers for age groups 2 to 5 and after-school hours for elementary school age groups 5 to 12. The ideal candidate would have availability on some of the days and times listed below: Monday-Friday (Times): 9:00-5:00
COMPENSATION:
Assistant Instructors start @ $18/hr Upon completion of the training period, Junior Instructors receive $21.50/hr Upon Promotion, Head Instructors receive $25/hr
