A Health Sciences Professor teaches foundational health science ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, lab experience, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the health science curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

Description:
The Department of Paramedicine at Creighton University invites applications and nominations for a Special Instructor/Lab position, in the Department of Paramedicine . Special Instructors are part-time faculty members, compensated by the University, who perform University teaching in lab, and/or simulation. This position will help to instruct EMS students per program policies and procedures, facilitating classroom and laboratory sessions. Depending on changing Department of Paramedicine needs, other responsibilities, assignments, and tasks may be added. These instructors shall perform duties at less than 50% of the workload of full-time faculty and shall have their agreed-upon workload percentage clearly specified in their letter of appointment.
