This instructor will be appointed to teach at the new Vanderbilt New York City campus, located in Chelsea. This non-tenure-track Lecturer position is a one-semester, course-based appointment effective Spring 2027 and is renewable each semester, conditional upon performance and need. What is Health? (and how do you get it)?, supervising student internships, and attending weekly meetings with other instructors.

MHS-NYC 2250

is an interdisciplinary exploration of how health is defined, contested, and pursued across social, cultural, and policy domains, including infrastructure, activism, hospitals and clinics, politics, media, and popular discourse. Students use the city as a laboratory to analyze health as a social good, a business, and a moral imperative.

Qualifications:
