Job Description

The division of Community Radiology of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a Neuroradiologist and Body/Diagnostic Radiologist for 72 weekend days per year which can be alternating weeks or a block schedule, specifically covering Saturday-Sunday daytime schedule 7a-4p for ED and inpatient studies. The role is ideal for radiologists seeking flexibility, supplemental income, or a reduced weekday commitment. Opportunity to join our established community hospital division in the national capital region (NCR), interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies. Expedited interview and hiring process.   • 300,000, plus a $50,000 sign-on bonus, robust benefits package, and additional moonlighting opportunities.
We are actively reviewing candidates and prepared to move quickly for this urgent hiring need. The Physician will provide high-quality clinical care within their specialty to patients of Johns Hopkins University (JHU) at the NCR. This role requires the delivery of competent, comprehensive, and patient-centered medical services aligned with prevailing standards of medical practice, professional ethics, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The physician is expected to exercise independent clinical judgment and practice in accordance with JHU policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
The position:
  • Subspecialized including thoracic, abdominal, and pelvic imaging
  • Collegial mix of experienced and recently trained body imagers
  • No Neuro, Mammo, IR, PET, Peds or outpatient MSK
  • No research or teaching requirements
  • Collegial mix of experienced and recently trained Body imagers
  • Home workstation provided
  • No overnight shifts
  • Complete all required medical records accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner, including: o Imaging interpretation reports o Patient encounter notes o Billing forms and coding documentation o Any additional reports or documentation required by JHU policies or applicable laws
  • Ensure documentation supports the services billed and meets institutional and regulatory standards.
  • Participate cooperatively in internal peer review, quality improvement initiatives, and performance evaluations as required.
Clinical services will be performed at Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital. + Applicants must be Board Certified with Maryland and DC Licensure.
Salary:
$250,000
  • 300,000 per year Salary Range The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting.
