Tenure faculty (regardless of rank) - persons with the titles of professor, associate professor, assistant professor andinstructor who serve on appointments totaling 50% or more service to the university and who are eligible for tenure or who have obtainedtenure. Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration ofeach faculty member's tenure initiation unit (TIU) and, as appropriate, regional campus; obligations will include research, service and/orteaching or clinical practice. Position Overview The Division of Health Behavior & Health Promotion in theCollege of Public Health invites well-qualified candidates with demonstrated expertise in health behavior and health promotion in publichealth for one open rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) tenure-track faculty position. This position offers anexciting opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative group of faculty dedicated to advancing public health through innovative research,educating the next generation of public health professionals, and engaging in impactful service. The Division is open to candidateswith a research program in health behavior and health promotion. Preference will be given to those working in maternal and child health,global health promotion, structural interventions, digital and AI-informed interventions, behavioral health, and nutrition/wellness. Whilenot a primary focus, we also welcome applicants with expertise in other health behavior and health promotion topics. The successfulcandidate should demonstrate (1) a record of rigorous and high-impact research and scholarship, appropriate for the rank sought, (2)potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring of public health students, and (3) commitment to the university's shared values . Thisposition requires individuals to work onsite. Occasional remote work may be permitted, but not on a continuous, full-time basis. Doctoral degree inpublic health with a specialization in health behavior, health promotion, behavioral science, or a closely related doctoral degree withinpublic health or practice experience; A record of, or potential for, successful independent teaching of undergraduate and/orgraduate students using a learner-centered approach that incorporates active learning strategies and technology.
