Must have at least 3 years Medical Administrative Office experience within the last 7 years Must be proficient in EHR, insurance, billing and coding Must have a heart for teaching/leading others

from 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm TN Professional Training Institute offers small classes, hands on learning and individual student support to help our students become confident and capable in their chosen field of study. Instructors must have at least three years of medical administrative office experience and be organized, encouraging and willing and able to communicate the curriculum as well as teach the clinical (hands on) skills needed for the career. The curriculum includes many topics, including but not limited to: Electronic Health Records, insurance, billing and coding, patient records, HIPAA, general office duties, scheduling, communication and office operations. The curriculum and tests are established and the instructor will be responsible for teaching the material, administering tests and assessments, and preparing the students for the responsibilities of the medical office administrative assistant in the healthcare field.
