Position Summary:
The Records Management Analyst helps to ensure domestic and international admissions processing is completed efficiently and accurately, and that each admission application is reviewed based on the admissions standards set forth by the university. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and safekeeping of electronic data and other records by coordinating storage, retrieval, usage, and records retention. Director of Admissions Processing Duties & Responsibilities:
Process domestic and international admission applications according to established university policies and procedures. Receive, retrieve, review, and upload admission documents from approved sources; match documents to the correct student record and update application checklists. Review applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy; enter, verify, update, and correct applicant information in university systems, referring complex issues to a supervisor. Process standardized test scores, including ACT, SAT, Accuplacer, and CLT, according to established procedures. Complete assigned reports, processing queues, and record-change requests, including application fee waivers, changes of term, and changes of applicant type. Provide professional customer service by telephone, email, and in person, including communicating application requirements, missing documents, deadlines, statuses, and next steps. Complete assigned work accurately and within established timelines while following FERPA, confidentiality, records-management, and departmental procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of statewide information system computer operations Knowledge of designated data system functions Knowledge of record management systems and retention policies and procedures Knowledge of federal laws and regulations and state directives, policies, and procedures surrounding privacy and record maintenance Ability to analyze, evaluate, and recommend records systems flow
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as requested and/or needed Regular and reliable attendance Some weekends and nights may be required for travel or events

Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a High School Diploma Three (3) years of experience in records management, administrative support, or a related field
