This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working directly with students and families while also managing the behind-the-scenes details that make programs successful. The ideal candidate has experience in educational leadership, working with individuals with disabilities, staff management, and community outreach. This position will play an important role in coordinating programs at the KLSD Education facility, supporting instructors, communicating with families, and helping us continue to develop inclusive and engaging opportunities for our community. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate KLSD Education's special needs, homeschool, and community enrichment programs Manage program and class scheduling Coordinate program billing and enrollment Assist with student intake and assessment Recruit, schedule, supervise, and support program staff Train and equip staff to successfully work with students and implement programming Provide classroom management and behavioral support when needed Teach and provide direct program support as needed Provide moderate curriculum support and help instructors successfully implement programming Build relationships with students, parents, community organizations, and partners Coordinate community outreach events and special events Help advertise and promote programs through networking and community engagement events Identify opportunities for program growth and development Support the continued development of inclusive programming for students with disabilities and homeschool families Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Experience in educational mid-level leadership Experience coordinating or managing small- to mid-scale educational or community programs Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or in special education environments Experience with community outreach and relationship building Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to confidently manage staff, schedules, families, and multiple programs simultaneously Comfort working directly with students and stepping into the classroom when needed A collaborative, solutions-focused approach to leadership Experience working with homeschool programs, enrichment programs, special education, behavioral support, or community-based education is especially valuable. Schedule & Compensation This position is expected to range from 25-40 hours per week , depending on program needs and candidate availability.
Compensation:
$27-$30 per hour, based on experience. About KLSD Education KLSD Education provides creative, hands-on educational and enrichment experiences centered around creative arts designed to give students opportunities to learn, create, build confidence, and connect with their community. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of this area of programming—not only maintaining existing programs, but helping us strengthen and grow them over time.
