In this pivotal role, you will oversee the administration of all financial aid programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. Your leadership will empower students to access educational opportunities through effective management of financial aid processes, student database systems, and regulatory adherence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the financial support landscape at an academic institution dedicated to student success and educational excellence. Duties Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial aid policies and procedures aligned with Title IV regulations and institutional goals. Oversee the processing of financial aid applications, including grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage the student information system (such as PeopleSoft or equivalent) to maintain up-to-date student records related to financial aid eligibility and disbursement. Supervise a team of financial aid staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing department. Collaborate with academic departments and administrative offices to ensure seamless integration of financial aid services with enrollment and registration processes. Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and institutional regulations concerning financial aid administration and reporting requirements. Conduct detailed financial analysis to monitor budget allocations, disbursement trends, and compliance metrics for ongoing program effectiveness. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive student information while providing excellent customer service to students and families navigating financial aid options. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Education Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Extensive experience in educational financial aid administration within an academic environment. Proven expertise in managing student information systems such as PeopleSoft or Ellucian Banner. Strong knowledge of Title IV regulations, federal loan processing procedures, and educational compliance standards. Demonstrated ability in financial analysis related to student aid budgets and disbursements. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, faculty, and regulatory agencies. Leadership experience managing teams within a complex administrative setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and data analysis tasks. Familiarity with educational administrative software and student database management systems. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence.
