Job Description
Weekend Proctor! Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00am-2:00pm Educational Consulting and Test Preparation Office in Lake Forest is looking to hire an administrative assistant to help with daily operations as well as social media. The purpose of this company is to help pick up slacks where the education system may be lacking. This boutique firm provides services in academic tutoring, test preparation, and college admissions counseling. As this is a small company, the owner of the company is seeking a weekend administrative assistant/proctor who can also handle some day-to-day administrative work. Administrative Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: Making and answering phone calls Handling client inquiries Communicating with current and potential clients Organizing online schedule Filing and organizing Aesthetic upkeep, maintenance, and improvement of the space Proctoring exams The ideal candidate would be somebody who is interested in combining the fields of entrepreneurship, education, and media. Ideal candidates would possess the following: Strong organizational ability Clear communication skills - both verbal and written Attention to detail Ability to work independently Weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday 9:00-2:00) Additional Consideration will be given for the following: Ability to teach/tutor high school topics Experience with managing social media accounts Experience with Photoshop, Canva, or other editing software Strong ties to an existing educational institution This position is currently part-time but has the potential to become a full-time position. As this is a small boutique, the opportunity for promotion is a strong possibility if the proper aptitude is demonstrated. Current college students are welcome to apply.
