Our Program Managers are Leaders, partnering with instructional staff and volunteers to bring each of our programs to life. These role models serve as visionaries and staff inspiration, operational can-doers and educational leaders, and all-around indispensable members of the HOTE program leadership team.Program Mission:
HOTE operates with a mission to provide learning goals, opportunities, and activities that are tailored specifically for K-12 grade level aged students, parents, and educators. The primary focus of the STEAM Program Manager will manage staff, reporting (internal/external), training, interviewing, & operational logistics for a particular program site. Responsibilities and Duties Oversee daily operations of a program, creating a high energy, organized, professional experience for students and staff alike. Work with all staff (HOTE & 3rd-party) associated with the program to ensure a safe, fun, and exciting work environment/educational environment is provided. Enforce HOTE safety procedures and emergency rules (with any additional rules/expectations of third party/host-site specific protocol) Manager will develop a Program Logistics & Emergency Preparedness guide in collaboration with HOTE & the School site. Program Managers are also responsible for staff scheduling, and operational logistics of a program site. Execute HOTE program process Creating the planning and implementation of new or existing Hands-On Technology Education curriculum for the purpose of use in an After-School Program setting Collaborate with appropriate departments for the hiring needs of the program Perform interviews and recommendations for staffing Create staff schedule , along with projected hours and labor costs Conduct staff reviewsSite Expectations:

Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree preferred with background in Education or Student Psychology. National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) accreditation for BA or MA degrees, educational or clinical psychology for MA or PsyD degrees are a bonus 3+ yrs progressive administrative experience. Experience with Google Drive, Google Docs & Quickbooks are a bonus 5+ yrs leadership experience 3+ yrs progressive supervisory experience, preferred supervision to include volunteers and staff (all-ages) 3+ yrs progressive work experience with kids or in a camp setting or classroom.
