Code Ninjas Palos Verdes is a dynamic STEM learning center where children develop the technical knowledge, creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills needed for the future. Located in Rolling Hills Estates, our center provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where students learn through hands-on projects, collaboration, experimentation, and play. Our programs go far beyond basic computer coding. We introduce children to coding, artificial intelligence, robotics, video-game development, engineering, 3D design and printing, entrepreneurship, aviation technology, and other emerging areas of science and technology. We are seeking an energetic and motivated Center Director to join our team and help us continue to grow and inspire the next generation of coders.
Job Description:
As the Center Director, you will be the driving force behind the success of Code Ninjas Palos Verdes. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, growing the business, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a dynamic leader who can communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff, and who is passionate about education and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the center to ensure smooth and efficient functioning Drive enrollment growth by implementing marketing strategies, bring community outreach and school partnerships to life Foster strong relationships with parents, students, and the local community Manage and mentor a team of instructors, ensuring high-quality instruction and a positive work environment Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track center success and identify areas for improvement Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures Plan and execute special events, workshops, and camps to enhance the center's offerings Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all students and visitors Create new marketing campaigns to grow the business Off site venues include Science night, expos, school event Attend virtual meeting/trainings
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a management role, preferably in an educational or child-focused setting Experience in business growth Strong business acumen with a track record of growing a business or center Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team Passion for technology and education Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
