by trying new things A Day in the Life At Digital Smiles, a typical day might include the following: Arriving at 8:00 to huddle with your team to celebrate yesterday's wins, address the opportunities, and prepare for today's patients. You walked in prepared and ready! Helping a patient check out after a Cerec crown and bicuspid root canal in a single visit. An emergency walks in and you help them sign up with Care Credit so the doctor can get them out of pain. Greeting new patients, taking x-rays & intra-oral pictures and spending time with them after the exam to present them their treatment and financial options. Putting a patient on an in house payment plan so they can start by scanning the mouth and sending to our in-house orthodontist. Get ready for a once a week meeting with our Regional Manager to discuss your individual Key Performance Indicators and how you can be better yourself. Visiting a local business to build relationships and grow our patient base. This position might be for you if: You love the never ending list of fun things to do in sunny Southern California. You understand that case acceptance doesn't necessarily happen today, but rather over time with a quality relationship in place first. You believe in getting better every day. You love to have fun and you have tons of energy, and you share both with your team and patients. You are self-driven and will take initiative to improve processes to make Digital Smiles better. You love people and seek to develop lasting relationships with your patients and your team. This job isn't for you if: You resist change and believe that the "way things have always been done" is always the best path. You are looking for a short term job. You like to sit around and watch paint dry, or simply "punch the clock." You plan to make patients wait around. What Winning Looks Like How we will measure your performance: It ain't perfect, but the production of dentistry (in dollars) really aligns with how well you are delivering care to the population. We will be measuring your performance daily, weekly, monthly, etc and expect you to be comfortable with this and have a continual desire to improve your outcomes. We measure patient satisfaction scores specific to every provider, and we will be asking patients if they trust you and if they want to return after meeting you. Our success as an industry is directly ties to how well our patients feel that we've met their needs, and we expect you to do everything in your power to make this work. Deal Breakers (If these don't fly, don't apply…. And please don't lie): You must love Digital Dentistry. You must love to work with Our Specialists in providing complex treatment. You must desire the best for everyone around you.Summary:
To land this gig, we really need you to have experience with (or the desire to learn) presenting treatment options and financial arrangements. Experience with PPO and HMO insurance plans is a plus.
