On or before November 1, 2026 Reports to: Club Director Summary The Elite Academy Director is responsible for building, stabilizing, and sustaining a high-level Elite Academy (EA) program consisting of six teams. This role requires a leader who can recruit, develop, and retain players while maintaining strong, healthy rosters and operating within an approved annual budget. This position combines program leadership and head coaching responsibilities , including directly coaching a minimum of two EA teams. The role is performance-based, with a 6-month evaluation period to assess the candidate's ability to successfully establish and manage the EA structure. Continuation of employment is contingent upon successfully building and maintaining six healthy EA teams by June. Key Objectives (Evaluation Benchmarks) Build and sustain 6 fully rostered, competitive EA teams Maintain healthy roster numbers aligned with club standards Demonstrate player retention and program stability Operate within approved budget parameters Establish a positive, development-focused culture within EA Failure to meet these benchmarks may result in the position being voided. Roles and ResponsibilitiesElite Academy Program Development Build, structure, and oversee all EA teams within the club Establish clear player pathways and roster continuity across age groups Recruit and retain high-level players to maintain competitive standards Run and organize EA tryouts and talent identification processes Ensure all EA teams align with Bulls philosophy and playing style Monitor and manage roster health across all teams Roster Management & Recruiting Actively recruit players year-round to strengthen EA teams Build balanced rosters that support both development and performance Maintain required roster sizes: 7v7: 12 players 9v9: 16 players 11v11: 18 players 11v11

EA:

20 players Track player movement, retention, and needs across all EA teams Communicate clearly with families regarding expectations and pathway Work closely with SoCal and MLS AD staff to ensure proper player placement Budget & Program Accountability Operate EA program within club-approved annual budget Track team-related expenses and ensure financial sustainability Collaborate with Club Director on financial planning and adjustments Club Culture & Philosophy Uphold and implement the LA Bulls philosophy and standards Create a high-performance environment focused on development over results Promote collaboration, integrity, and professionalism across teams Serve as a leader and role model within the club ecosystem Head Coach Responsibilities (2-3 EA Teams) Player Development Develop individual technical, tactical, and psychological growth Foster confidence, leadership, and love for the game Team Management Train two teams, 3 sessions per week per team Coach weekend games year-round Schedule tournaments in alignment with Technical Director Communicate consistently with players and families Provide seasonal player evaluations (Fall & Spring) Game & Training Standards Plan sessions at least one week in advance Implement Bulls curriculum and style of play Utilize video (Veo) for match analysis (minimum 2 games/year) Send game recaps within 48 hours Operations & Administration Manage team budgets and player registrations Track rosters, jersey numbers, and payments Ensure compliance with league, Cal South, and US Club requirements Submit timesheets accurately and on time Assist with scheduling, field coordination, and club operations Support club events, programs, and initiatives Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with Club Director and

Director Support alignment across all levels of the club Contribute to long-term EA strategy and growth Build relationships with players, families, and broader soccer community Minimum Qualifications US Soccer C License or higher 1-3 years experience building and managing a soccer program Experience coaching competitive youth soccer Strong recruiting and roster-building experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple teams and responsibilities simultaneously Strong alignment with LA Bulls mission and philosophy Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated success building competitive teams Experience working within Elite Academy or similar platforms Strong understanding of Southern California youth soccer landscape Background in player development pathways Experience managing budgets or program finances Evaluation & Employment Terms Initial hire is hourly and probationary (November-June) Formal evaluation will assess: Ability to build 6 EA teams Roster strength and retention Program organization and leadership Financial responsibility If program benchmarks are not met, the position will be voided. Successful completion may lead to a full-time, long-term role within the club.
