Job Description
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Two (2) years of related experience. Grant Funded Position -Continued Employment Pending Grant Renewal Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates student retention by working with faculty and staff to create a program plan and to track student progress. Provides support by planning and coordinating efforts that include implementing the student orientation, speaker series, workshops, tours, and seminars throughout the year. Works closely with Transition Specialists to follow up and monitor the level of impact on students and their success. Advises students and guides the development of continuing student schedules. Responsible for coordinating and implementing the faculty onboarding and training experience for new instructors. Researches, communicates, and implements professional development opportunities for current instructors. Assists in ensuring instructional materials and resources are on site for faculty, students, and staff. Coordinates recruitment efforts by working with campus partners and community organizations to schedule, plans, and implements AE information sessions multiple times a year for prospective students. Coordinates with the ESOL and AE managers to create and deliver an outreach strategy for prospective and current students. Will develop a system by which outreach can be tracked and analyzed. Working in conjunction with the AE Team, plans, coordinates, schedules, and implements the Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs. Stays up to date on IET policy and procedures by attending webinars and other trainings as available. Gathers and maintains information for reports; maintains record system, process daily paperwork including reports and memos, and supports marketing material development. Attends regularly scheduled meetings and provides updates and data as requested to the AE Director and others as necessary. Other duties and special projects as assigned and directed.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Exercise good judgment and communicate effectively in both oral and written formats Exercise strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a multiple task environment as well as use computers and office equipment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, employees, and the public.
