This position oversees the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and student-centered experience while supporting the College's enrollment goals. The Director monitors admissions activity and performance, establishes procedures and priorities, and works collaboratively with Financial Aid, Advising, and other departments to support enrollment initiatives. The Director also serves as a key representative of Doral College to prospective students, families, schools, community organizations, and institutional partners. Must be a strategic, detail-oriented professional able to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Must be comfortable leading a team, analyzing data, using technology, solving problems, and adapting to changing processes and institutional needs. Duties Provides leadership, direction, and oversight for the College's admissions process and staff. Develops and implements admissions procedures, workflows, communication standards, and recruitment strategies to support enrollment objectives. Monitors the admissions pipeline from inquiry through enrollment and identifies opportunities to improve application completion, conversion, and enrollment. Oversees consistent and timely communication and follow-up with prospective students and applicants. Utilizes CRM and other institutional systems to monitor leads, applications, admissions activity, staff performance, and enrollment outcomes. Oversees the review of applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy in accordance with published admissions requirements and College policies. Develops and monitors recruitment initiatives and represents Doral College at partner schools, college fairs, community events, and other recruitment activities. Builds and maintains relationships with schools, community organizations, employers, and other strategic partners to expand recruitment opportunities. Delivers presentations to prospective students, families, partner schools, and community organizations regarding Doral College's programs, admissions requirements, and enrollment process. Works collaboratively with Media Relations to coordinate recruitment campaigns, outreach efforts, and enrollment initiatives. Manages inventory and ordering of promotional and marketing materials. Monitors admissions data and prepares reports to evaluate recruitment activity, application trends, conversion rates, and progress toward enrollment goals. Ensures admissions records are accurate, complete, confidential, and maintained in accordance with FERPA and applicable institutional requirements. Collaborates with Financial Aid, Advising, Registrar and other functions to facilitate a smooth transition from admission through enrollment. Supports the implementation and effective use of new admissions technologies, including CRM and automation tools. Participates in accreditation, compliance, and institutional initiatives related to admissions and enrollment. Represents Doral College professionally with prospective students, families, institutional partners, and community stakeholders. Participates in student services events, including orientations, open houses, commencement, and other College activities as needed. Provides regular updates to the Vice President for Enrollment Management & Development regarding admissions activity, enrollment trends, staffing, recruitment initiatives, and operational needs. Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Enrollment Management & Development or other senior leadership.
Position Requires:
The ability to maintain accurate and auditable records. Strong organizational, interpersonal, written communication, and public speaking skills. The ability to handle multiple deadlines and tasks at once. The ability to use Microsoft Office, Google Suite tools, and database software. The ability to use Canva or other document design software to create attractive informational materials. Willingness to travel to partner schools and recruitment events as needed. Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support recruitment events, orientations, and other College activities. Experience within college and/or high school environments preferred. Minimum five (5) years work experience preferred; experience in higher education required. Minimum Bachelors degree required; Master's degree preferred.
