Job Description
This is a full time position at the Minneola Campus.
Purpose:
To provide leadership, vision, and direction that creates a life-giving atmosphere for the Worship Team. The Campus Worship Director serves the Campus Pastor and Central Worship Director in overseeing and coordinating the worship ministry and is responsible for guarding the spiritual culture and character of the worship team. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Lead worship for campus worship experiences. Lead, manage, and schedule the campus worship team. Implement and execute songs and service flows as directed from central worship director. Oversee and lead rehearsals to ensure experiences are executed with excellence. Direct and lead the team during set-up and tear-down. Ensure the completion and excellence of Ableton setlists for all services. Execute service Attend weekly campus staff meeting. Weekly communication to dream teams. Assist in Development process for Central and Minneola Campus. Which includes communicating with those interested in serving on the worship team, schedule live auditions, coach during development. Ability to articulate and implement the vision of the Lakeside Church. Collaborate with Staff and team to ensure excellence during all campus experiences. Fulfill the requirements and faithfully perform the duties of a "Director" at Lakeside Church to the best of their ability. Other duties as assigned by Campus Pastor. Experience and Skills Required Proficient musical skills and knowledge of vocal techniques. Have a solution-oriented mindset as it pertains to portable church. Ability to create, coordinate, and lead a worship experience with a team. Ability to handle multiple projects effectively. Proven leadership experience serving with volunteers. Proven ability to build and train volunteer teams. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from various backgrounds. Proficient with Planning Center On-Line (PCO). Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills. Self-led with a pursuit of excellence through attention to detail and follow-up. Excellent conflict resolution skills. Rooted and grounded in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
