Job Description
Head of Strength & Conditioning —
MacStrength FL Location:
Naples, FL (on-site) Job type:Full-time Pay:
Base + exciting commission structure with upside.Start date:
October 1, 2026 Reports to: Co-Founders Build a department. Not just run one. MacStrength FL is a baseball and softball player development facility in Naples. Our athletes get hitting, pitching, strength and conditioning, recruiting advising, and a written monthly training plan under one roof, and we measure everything — TrackMan, HitTrax, and a data-driven approach to every athlete in the building. Strength and conditioning is already part of every membership. Now we're building it into its own department with its own leader, and eventually its own business line. We're hiring the person who owns that. You'll lead the weight room, program for every MacStrength athlete, and then go find the next cohort of athletes who aren't with us yet. What you'll do Own the weight room (core hours: 4:15-9:15 PM, Monday-Friday) Coach every strength and conditioning session for MacStrength athletes — youth through college Write and manage all programming: in-season, off-season, return-to-play, and individual athlete plans Run assessments and testing, track progress, and report results to athletes, parents, and our hitting and pitching coaches Lead nutrition education for athletes and families Coordinate with our physical therapy partner on recovery and return-to-play Keep the floor safe, clean, organized, and running on time Grow the business (the rest of your week is yours to build with) Design and launch a standalone strength and conditioning offering Pursue and close partnership contracts Explore additional programs where you see demand Own your pipeline: outreach, relationship-building, presentations, follow-up Earn commission on the business you create Lead the department Sit alongside our Director of Hitting and Director of Pitching as a department head Set the standard for how S&C is coached at MacStrength Identify the equipment and technology you need to do the job at a high level — we'll invest in it Who we're looking for Required CSCS (NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) Current CPR/AED certification Demonstrated experience coaching athletes in a group setting Available on-site Monday-Friday, 4:15-9:15 PM Reliable transportation and the willingness to be out in the community meeting coaches, athletic directors, and program leaders Preferred Experience training baseball and/or softball athletes Experience with youth and high school populations Prior success selling, recruiting, or building a client base — personal training, team sales, program development, or similar Experience with velocity-based training, force plates, or athlete monitoring tech Bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field Who you are Hungry. You'd rather earn more by building something than be handed a flat salary for showing up. Self-starting. You'll build the relationships, the pitch, and the offer. Growth-minded. You want feedback, you want reps, and you want to be better next quarter than you are today. Willing to bet on yourself. The base is intentionally modest and the upside is intentionally meaningful. A coach first. Athletes and parents will trust you because you're excellent on the floor. Benefits Base salary Commission on new business you generate Paid time off Full use of the weight room and a budget for equipment and technology upgrades tied to your role Continuing education support for CSCS renewal and relevant certifications A seat at the leadership table in a growing business This role is built for someone who wants a floor to stand on and a ceiling they control. If you want a guaranteed number with no variable, this isn't the right fit — and that's okay. How to apply Apply on Indeed with your resume and a short note answering two questions: Tell us about a time you built something from zero — a client base, a program, a team, a business. What would you do in your first 30 days to start bringing new athletes into our weight room? Applications without answers to both questions will not be considered.Pay:
