A Residential Services Administrator provides administrative support for the residential services office at a college or university. The office comprehensively programs the experience of living on and off campus in a residence hall.
Maintain a comfortable, safe, and orderly living environment within a large private residence through ongoing household services and coordination. Perform daily inspections of household rooms, living areas, and residential systems to identify service, maintenance, or operational needs requiring prompt follow-up. Coordinate household services and ongoing upkeep through direct communication with vendors and service providers responsible for landscaping, pool maintenance, and residential systems. Communicate service instructions, scheduling details, and access arrangements to household service providers to ensure timely and accurate completion of services. Maintain household schedules, service records, inventories, and documentation related to residential operations and vendor activities. Manage deliveries and oversee access for household service providers entering the residence in connection with scheduled services and maintenance. Prepare common and guest areas for daily use, visits, and household activities in coordination with ongoing service schedules. Provide household hospitality support, including preparation of beverages and assistance with routine daily household needs. Accompany the household employer to appointments as needed in connection with household or daily living activities. Maintain confidentiality of household, personal, and residential matters in the course of providing household services and vendor coordination.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Twenty-four (24) months of experience in private household service, residential service, or hospitality service positions. Must have Spanish proficiency sufficient to communicate with household service providers regarding scheduling, service coordination, and access to the residence. Must have experience with each of the following: performing routine inspections of residential or hospitality living areas to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and service standards; coordinating household or hospitality services by communicating with service providers regarding scheduling, service needs, and access; and maintaining service schedules, logs, or records to track household or hospitality services and follow up on completed tasks.
