This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building programs and building participation in them. Our Training & Development Manager doesn't simply put classes on the calendar, the right person takes ownership of their success. You'll work closely with ABC members, instructors, industry professionals, committees, and community partners to identify training needs, develop relevant programming, promote opportunities, recruit participants, and deliver an exceptional experience from registration through completion. What You'll Do Manage a robust calendar of professional development, continuing education, leadership, and construction-industry training programs. Actively drive registrations and participation through direct outreach to ABC members and prospective participants—including picking up the phone, making calls, following up, and asking for the registration or sponsorships. Build relationships with member companies to understand their workforce and professional development needs and connect them with relevant ABC programs. Identify opportunities for new classes, programs, instructors, partnerships, and educational offerings. Take ownership of program performance, monitoring registrations and responding proactively when a class needs additional promotion or outreach. Work collaboratively with ABC's membership and marketing teams to promote educational opportunities through email, digital communications, social media, and other channels. Coordinate instructors, course materials, registrations, certifications/CEUs, evaluations, technology, and other program logistics. Serve as staff liaison to assigned education, collegiate, workforce, and related committees. Maintain relationships with schools, universities, workforce organizations, community partners, and construction-industry leaders. Track program activity, expenses, participation, trends, and results and provide regular reporting and recommendations. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is outgoing, proactive, organized, persuasive, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment. You should enjoy talking with people and developing relationships, but you also need to be comfortable turning those relationships into action . If registrations are below goal, your instinct should be to figure out who needs the program, reach out to them, and make the case for participating.
