Job Description

Join our vibrant educational community as an After-School Program Director, where you will lead dynamic after-school initiatives that foster learning, creativity, and positive social interactions. In this role, you will oversee program planning, staff coordination, student engagement, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all participants. Your leadership will inspire both students and staff to thrive beyond the classroom while promoting educational excellence and community involvement. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives through innovative programming and dedicated mentorship. Develop and implement engaging after-school curriculum that support students' academic growth, social-emotional development, and extracurricular interests Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality service delivery Coordinate with parents, and community partners to align program activities with student needs and community goals Manage daily operations including student attendance, safety protocols, and activity schedules to maintain a secure and welcoming environment Foster a positive program culture that encourages teamwork, inclusivity, and student participation in decision-making processes Monitor program budgets and resources to optimize the use of materials, facilities, and funding opportunities Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and organizational policies Higher education teaching experience or background in education is highly preferred Demonstrated success in managing youth programs or educational initiatives within a school or community setting Proven ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a focus on student engagement and safety Experience working directly with students of diverse backgrounds in an educational or extracurricular context Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with university-level education environments or experience working within higher education institutions is advantageous Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, students, and community partners effectively This position is ideal for passionate educators eager to inspire young minds through innovative after-school programming.
