This position is responsible for managing educational course offerings, student records, state reporting requirements, webinar administration, and supporting the Society's mission of providing high-quality professional education to Florida's surveying and mapping community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Education Program Administration Coordinate and administer all continuing education programs and course materials for the Society. Assist with the planning, scheduling, and implementation of seminars, workshops, webinars, and conference education sessions. Manage course registrations and participant communications. Host and facilitate online webinars, virtual meetings, and educational events. Provide customer service and support to students, instructors, and members. Student Records & State Reporting Grade completed examinations and evaluate course completion requirements. Report continuing education credits to the State of Florida in accordance with applicable statutes and deadlines. Notify students of examination results and course completion status. Maintain accurate records and documentation of course participation, examinations, and continuing education credits. Ensure compliance with state reporting requirements and educational standards. Database & Technology Management Utilize and maintain the Society's Association Management System (MemberClicks) and Learning Management System (LMS). Assist with the creation, maintenance, and updating of online course catalogs, registration forms, membership applications, and event registration pages. Assist in troubleshooting member and student access issues. Administrative Support Work closely with the Education Committee Chair, Executive Director, and Board members to support educational initiatives and organizational goals. Assist with conference planning and educational programming for Society events. Provide general administrative support for the Society's daily operations as assigned. Participate in special projects and other duties as needed to support the organization's mission. Qualifications Required Qualifications Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom/Teams. Ability to learn new software and technology systems quickly. Preferred Qualifications Experience working for a professional association, nonprofit organization, or educational institution. Familiarity with continuing education programs and regulatory reporting requirements. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and basic website content management. Experience with event planning and conference coordination. Work Environment Full-time position located in Tallahassee, Florida. Office-based with occasional travel to Society meetings, seminars, conferences, and events.
